Integrated-Aqua’s Integrated Drum Filter Control (DFC) Systems are fully modular, turnkey solutions for drum filter operation. Each system comes pre-wired, pre-plumbed, and skid-mounted on non-corrosive FRP bases, including properly sized rinse pumps, motor controls, and single-point electrical connections. Systems are available with basic drum filter controllers (BDFC) or intelligent drum filter controllers (AquaPLC™) depending on the application. AquaPLC™ intelligent controls maximize filter efficiency by dynamically responding to changes in TSS, reducing backwash water, energy use, and equipment wear. Optional integration with water quality monitoring systems enables precise monitoring of pH, dissolved oxygen, temperature, conductivity, and other parameters for comprehensive system automation.
The AquaPLC™ Drum Filter Controller leverages exclusive Intelligent Controls technology to maximize drum filter efficiency and performance. By dynamically responding to changes in total suspended solids (TSS) loading, AquaPLC™ allows controlled filter cake development for finer solids capture and extended backwash intervals. The result is reduced backwash water usage, lower electrical consumption, and more economical drum filter operation.
