CHILLERS & HEAT PUMPS

Refrigeration type aquatic chillers utilize compressed refrigerant with built-in titanium heat exchangers to efficiently remove heat from the system.  Heat pumps operate similarly however the process is reversed to remove cold from the system.  These packaged units are either air-cooled or water cooled and rated for indoor or outdoor operation depending on the site requirements.  

Stand-alone chillers and heat pumps are available in fractional hp sizes used in aquariums and research systems, commercial sizes from 1.5 to 20 tons, and industrial scale up to 260 tons.  For each project IAS will review your aquatic temperature requirements and specific application conditions carefully to size, select and quote the proper equipment to meet your specific needs.
