Participate in this hands-on workshop focused on the operation and maintenance of gear-wheel-driven drum filters using the HEX™ Drum Filter. Participants will receive foundational instruction on the theory of operation, key component identification, backwash sequencing, and proper startup procedures. The practical portion will cover essential maintenance tasks required to keep drum filters operating to their design specifications, including panel maintenance, lubrication, basic control setup, and troubleshooting.
This class provides in-depth instruction on the design, selection, application, and maintenance of gear-wheel-driven drum filters. Participants will gain an overview of various drum filter types, control systems, available options, and design applications. The practical portion will cover basic controller setup and programming using the AquaPLC™ and IAS Drum Filter Control Systems (DFC), ensuring proper operation and maintenance of drum filters according to their design specifications.
