Integrated Aqua Systems, Inc. (IAS, Inc.) is proud to announce the completion of its recent installation at Lake Superior State University (LSSU) for their freshwater salmonid research systems. This project involved the installation of four independent Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS) with temperature control, water quality monitoring/control, influent and effluent filtration using a drum filter.
IAS, Inc. supplied a complete scope of equipment for this project, including INTEGRATED™ Filter Modules, SITA medium pressure UV SMP Series UV Sterilizers, Water Quality Monitoring and Controls with Prominent AEGIS II Controller, and INTEGRATED™ Filtration Systems. These state-of-the-art systems ensure that the salmonid research facilities at LSSU have the best possible environment for their research activities.
The INTEGRATED™ Filter Modules are a key component of the filtration system, providing efficient mechanical and biological filtration. The SITA medium pressure UV SMP Series UV Sterilizers provide effective and reliable disinfection of the water in the RAS, ensuring that the fish are kept in a healthy and safe environment. The Water Quality Monitoring and Controls with Prominent AEGIS II Controller allow for the monitoring and control of key water quality parameters, including dissolved oxygen, temperature, pH, and ammonia. The INTEGRATED™ Filtration Systems ensure that the influent and effluent water is properly filtered and treated while recirculating throughout the system.
The completion of this project highlights our commitment to providing the highest quality aquatic systems and equipment to our customers. We are proud to have worked with LSSU on this project and look forward to continuing to support their research activities in the future.
